Indian constitution, as per the 1969 act under section " 49-O"

I got this information via-mail from Mr.Suprano Satpathy

Please read thru CAREFULLY!

Did you know that there is a system in the Indian constitution, as per the 1969 act under section " 49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote for anyone!

Yes, such a feature is available, but obviously for vested interest no one has ever publicized it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say “I VOTE FOR NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 200 votes and if that particular ward has received more than 200 "49-O" votes, then the said polling will be cancelled. Re-polling will have to be implemented. Not only that the candidature of all the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling since people had already expressed their decision on them.

This would bring regulation into the political parties and hence they would look out for genuine candidates for putting up in the elections. This might change the ways of our political system.... it is surprising, why the election commission has not been publicizing this feature ....

Please spread this news to as many as you know...
Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt politicians in India ... show your power by expressing your desire. If desired choose ‘not to vote for anybody’. This is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss out on your chance. Either ‘vote’ or vote for ‘not to vote’ (vote 49-O) . Just make sure that you do visit the polling booth on the election day.

Use your voting right for a better future of India.

Nobody 'ALONE' can bring about a change in India, not even GOD, it’s only a collective force which will work. Let’s connect.
