OJM Chief Pyari greeted with eggs In Umerkote.
Nabarangpur:
Rajya Sabha MP and Odisha Jana Morcha (OJM) Chief Pyari Mohapatro’s two days visit to the district has undoubtedly upset for ruling BJD. During his visit on Wednesday Pyari made a tour of Umerkote, Chandahandi, Jharigam, attended many party meetings organized at block level in those places. At some places he was greeted with much enthusiasm by the party wokers. However at Umerkote and Jharigam Pyari was greeted with eggs pelted at his vehicle, this act of egg throwing led to a lot of tension between the supporters of Pyari and BJD workers. In this connection Police had taken some people to its custody later they were released.

Pyari who was a key strategist of the ruling BJD also known as the proverbial Chanakya for Naveen Patnaik, had become the latter’s friend, philosopher and guide for the first 12 years of the BJD regime. It is worth mentioning here that it is the first ever visi...t of Pyari to this district after the May 29th failed midnight operation. First he went to Chandahandi, the home area of Minister and BJD district president Ramesh Majhi, attended a party meeting and procession at some places he greeted his party workers from within his own vehicle. After that he attended a Motor cycle rally and a meeting at Umerkote where eggs were pelted at him.

Criticizing the schemes of Naveen Patnaik, and British rule exuded confidence that the OJM along with its allies would form government in the state after 2014 polls by joining hands with like-minded parties. With your blessings the after OJM comes to power the development of KBK, including employment opportunity to 85 lakhs youths through micro finance would be our main priority Pyari said addressing the meeting at Papadahandi, on Thursday. Later he left to attend meetings at Borigumma. While addressing to media persons Pyari said the Month May is vital and identical lucky for him and his party. Within a very short span of time, OJM widespread in the state, having thousands of workers each and every area we are covering he added. On 29th of this month objection period for our party was over, we will register and apply for party symbol soon Pyari added. The opinion at the political circle is that the infighting in the BJD here will benefit Pyari in the coming election.

IPL boom:

As we watch the IPL matches , there is good capital gain by bookies and players! BCCI said they cannot control bookies. A simple case shall be registered by Rajastan Royals. This is age of consumerism and crony capitalism. This type of problem cannot be eradicated. I think they should legalise bating.
First, they introduced something called "auction" of players. It was a new word to hear after Abraham lincon abolished slavery. We accepted that. Then they introduced fun elements like cheer girl , a sexist medieval display. We also accepted that. Now , it is time we should accept bookies and baiting as legal. The face language of most of the BCCI members yesterday was cheerful as if they have nothing to do with baiting and corruption in the game. But the larger question is whether the money goes to anti-nationals or stock exchange or hawala operations? in spite of everything we cannot stop watching the game!
Brothers  are special … such a joy to be catching up with my younger brother Aditya in Bhubaneswar  ..

After finishing my hectic official tour to Bhadrawati some 150 Kms away from Nagpur. Returned to Bhubaneswar and spent the weekend  with my brothers Mr.Sambit Nayak, Mr. Amarendra Pratap Swain (Vicky Swain as he is popularly known as) and my schoolmate Pratyush Sahoo.  Enjoyed a lot and the trip was bit refreshing. The next get together will probably in the month of July as we all have decided to have a darshan of "Kalia Saanta" - Lord Jagannath on the occasion of "Sona besh" of Sri Jagannath.
