Odisha Jana Morcha led by Mr.Pyari Mohan Mohaptra former bureaucrat and current MP Rajya Sabha. Way back he was considered as the King Rasputin in the Biju Janata Dal because of his immense power. He was also the Principal Secretary during Late Biju Patnaik's government. Because of Naveen Patnaik's dependency on Pyari mohan Mohapatra the immense power of Pyari mohan mohapatra was built up. He was suspended on June 1st because of his malacious attempt to out throw Mr. Naveen Patnaik and to become the chief minister of Odisha which was shattered by the senior leaders of the party who were also being battered by Pyari Mohan Mohapatra in the past. TO regain his political image and to use his muscle power he has formed a morcha named as Odisha Jana Morcha (OJM). Every one is all aware that Pyari Mohapatra does not have a good political image rather is considered as a "Eunuch Leader" because earlier the crowd which was being gathered in the meetings of Pyari babu was only because he was being framed by as the super CM by Naveen Patnaik himself .Mr.Pyari Mohan Mohapatra always delivers a common speech to the people of odisha "I am for the people I am of the people and by the people but in reality every molecule of his words are false and baseless. Niether he or anyone of his members have shown any interest to work for the betterment of the people of odisha. At present he has meager members in his side such as Cuttack Choudwar M.L.A Prabhat Biswal who was also suspended simultaneously with Pyari mohan Mohapatra because of there malacious attempt. Biju Janata Dal (BJD)'s suspended general secretary Mr.Jagneswar Babu and some unseen political figures of the state.
Let us have a discussion on the members or the ragtag army of the OJM. To begin with Mr. Prabhat Biswal a close associate of Pyari Mohan Mohapatra and the current M.L.A of Cuttack - Choudwar assembly constituency. Mr. Biswal is better known as a businessman rather than a politician as he holds a NGO, a mineral water factory etc. He does not have any control in the grass root people or the downtrodden people of his own constituency. Even I have also heard a many times people calling him a DALAL. Now the question arises if a person is not able to have a control in his own constituency will he be able to lead a morcha ? Can he make some drastic changes in the state ? .
The second member of the morcha Shri.Jangyeswar Baboo a man of crores and a former MLA from Saintala Constituency in Bolangir District. He is a partial owner of the Sundergarh Sugar Mill and a former president of Orissa Co-operative Bank Ltd. He is illegally occupied a government quater in bhubaneswar and is staying there forcefully. In his early days before becoming an MLA was in charge Odia Paper Sambad for Sambalpur division. Throughout his life he has indulged himself to make a huge profit not ever bothered for the betterment of the common people. I can proudly say that " A scamster of Western Odisha".
The third member of OJM Shri.Rajendra Prasad Singh alias Raju Singh as he popularly known by the people also a former MLA from Cuttack - Choudwar and presently the President of the Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) for Odisha. Hind Mazdoor Sabha is a workers assembly of India. On the inaguration day of OJM Mr.Raju SIngh has declared the merger of HMS into OJM. But has faced serious criticism from the members of RMS - Rourkela Mazdoor Sabha a alliate of HMS. According to the president of RMS, the decision to join OJM was entirely his own individual decision (Raju Singh's) and the RMS had nothing to do with it. The RMS is a free, independent and democratic union and is not affiliated to any political party. So it gives a clear picture that Raju Singh does not have any support from his own party. He wont be able to make any differences if the HMS is merged with OJM.
And lastly I would conclude that Shri.Pyari mohan mohapatra must understand that the people are the ultimate power in the democracy. And to topple up people's favourite leader and to become a leader the public image of Pyari babu has taken a back seat. And Pyari babu has got a taste of his own medicine.
